Medical school:  Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri

Post Graduate Training:  University of Iowa Department of Psychiatry, Iowa City, Iowa

Married with four children, all grown.

As far back as I can recall, I always wanted to be a doctor.  Briefly, I entertained being an astronaut during the Mercury/Apollo missions.  There was never a doubt in my mind what I wanted to be “when I grew up”.

    I built a solo private practice in Western Kentucky, where I practiced Geriatric/Adult psychiatry for twenty years.  In 2007, I closed my practice and travelled, working as a travelling Psychiatrist.  I spent six months working in a hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.  I worked several years in Nashville, Tennessee, Southwest Georgia and now in Myrtle Beach.

    At age 56 I have successfully cleared my bucket list:  I am married to the love of my life; I have lived and worked abroad; I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane (and have the pictures to prove it!), then learned how to pilot said plane.  I have had the privilege of flying myself and family all over the country.  I love living on the East Coast,(never before) and plan to be here for a long time.
